About the Authors and Editors
Jiwon Kim is an associate professor of Educational Foundations and Social Studies Education at Monmouth University, and a founding director of the Interdisciplinary Program for Elementary Educators. Her work on interdisciplinary education for social and global issues has been presented at the state and international workshops for educators.
Sandra Zak is a lecturer of mathematics and a founding member of the Interdisciplinary Education Major at Monmouth University. Her research focuses on the integration of social justice into classroom practice for mathematics and interdisciplinary teacher education.
