Professor Sir Peter Cook RA is founder of Archigram, former Director of the Institute for Contemporary Art (ICA), London, and Bartlett School of Architecture (University College London). Awards and accolades include: 2002 RIBA Royal Gold Medal, a knighthood from the Queen in 2007 for services to architecture and an honorary doctorate from Lund University in Sweden. He is also a Royal Academician and a Commandeur de lOrdre des Arts et Lettres of the French Republic. He is currently a Senior Fellow of the Royal College of Art, London. His professorships include those of the Royal Academy, University College London and the Hochschule fur Bildende Kunste (Staedelschule) in Frankfurt-Main, Germany. He has executed built works in Vienna, Graz, Osaka, Nagoya, Berlin, Frankfurt and Madrid and a school of architecture for Bond University in Queensland, Australia. A familiar voice within cultural institutions around the world, Peter lectures internationally.
