Nghi Ho is a successful self-taught Macramé artist and content creator. As a kid, she was amazed by how using your hands and a bit of creativity one could create something beautiful. One of her fondest memories as a child is making lanterns for the Mid-Autumn festival.
Nghi followed her passion and received her bachelor's degree in Fashion Design. After graduating, she got a job as a graphic designer. She then decided to become a freelancer, in order to have more artistic freedom, and to be able to choose projects she was really passionate about. After a while Nghi began to show interest in other types of digital businesses. Shes self-taught in basic coding/programming, recording/editing content, image compositions, web development, and building a social media presence.
It took Nghi a while to learn the art of Macramé. And during that time, at some point, she got frustrated with some of the options available to do so. It was then, when she decided to give it a try and began creating her own content. She has built herself a presence in the online Macramé community, and uses platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok to inspire others to take on Macramé. She creates easy to follow tutorials with the goal to spark people's creativity as well as artistic self-expression. Apart from creating content and managing her social media channels, Nghi has developed her own brand of Macramé supplies, Miss Knottie Macrame. Her online store has allowed people from all over the world to get everything they need to start tying knots.
