Dr. Vivek Kumar is a postdoctoral researcher with a rich academic and professional background in the field of biotechnology and multi-omics research. He earned both his bachelors and masters degrees in biotechnology, followed by a Ph.D. in biotechnology from the Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), Allahabad, in 2022. His doctoral research focused on the role of microRNAs (miRNA), liquid biopsy techniques, biomarkers, and epigenetic mechanisms in ovarian cancer, contributing to the advancement of early detection and diagnostic methodologies. Following his Ph.D., Dr. Kumar joined the Department of Laboratory Medicine/Pathology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Patna, as a postdoctoral fellow under a Department of Science and Technology (DST) project. Here, his work centered on breast cancer research, where he applied his expertise in molecular diagnostics and cancer biology to explore new avenues for understanding and diagnosing breast cancer. Dr. Kumars pursuit of excellence then led him to the United States, where he joined the University of South Florida (USF) Microbiome Institute within the Center of Excellence in Aging and Brain Repair as a postdoctoral researcher. His current research delves into the complex interplay between the gut microbiome and the brain, specifically examining how epigenetic modifications influence the gutbrain axis in cognitively impaired patients. By integrating multi-omics approaches, Dr. Kumar aims to uncover the molecular mechanisms underlying cognitive disorders and identify potential biomarkers for early diagnosis and therapeutic intervention. Dr. Vivek Kumars work stands at the cutting edge of biotechnology, epigenetics, and neurodegenerative disease research, contributing valuable insights into cancer diagnostics and brain health through the lens of microbiome science and molecular biology.

Dr. Amit Chaudhary is currently a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Cell, Developmental, and Integrative Biology at The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Alabama, USA. Prior to this, Dr. Chaudhary worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Polymer Simulation and Characterization Lab in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India. He completed his Ph.D. in biotechnology in the Department of Biotechnology, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad, India. Dr. Chaudhary also holds an M.Tech. in bioinformatics from the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, India, and a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the United Institute of Pharmacy, Allahabad, India. Dr. Chaudharys research interests span a broad range of topics, including transcriptomics analysis, molecular modeling, molecular docking, molecular dynamics simulations, phylogenetic analysis, protein-protein/gene-gene interaction, and functional and pathways analysis of proteins/genes.
