Chandra Sekhar Rout is a full Professor at Centre for Nano & Material Sciences (CNMS), Jain University. Before joining CNMS, he was a DST-Ramanujan Fellow at IIT Bhubaneswar, India (2013-2017). His research interests include preparation and characterization of 2D layered materials and its hybrids for chemical sensors and biosensors, supercapacitors and energy storage devices, field emitters and electronic devices. He has authored more than 200 research papers in international journals and edited 4 books. His current h-index is 47 with total citations >10,000. He was ranked in the top 2% of scientists in India by the Stanford study in 2020-2022.

Shweta Jagtap is an Assistant Professor at Department of Electronic and Instrumentation Science, Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. Prior to joining, she was a DST Women Scientist at the Department of Physics, Savitribai Phule Pune University, India. Her research is mainly focused on synthesis and sensing applications of 2D materials and she has authored more than 50 research papers and more than 10 book chapters. She has been a part of several interdisciplinary research efforts based on sensors.

Suresh Gosavi is currently serving as the Vice Chancellor of Savitribai Phule Pune University Pune, India, since June 2023. He earned his Ph.D. in Electronic Science from the same university in 1996, followed by post-doctoral research at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Oregon Graduate Institute, Portland, Oregon, USA (19982000). With over 32 years of distinguished experience in teaching and research, Dr. Gosavi has made significant contributions to the fields of nanotechnology and materials science, with specific interests in microfluidics, nano-fluidics, and lithography. Dr. Gosavi has authored nearly 365 research papers in internationally reputed peer-reviewed journals, accumulating over 8141 citations, with an h-index of 45 and an i10-index of 163. His scientific achievements have been recognized by several prestigious honors, including his election as a Fellow of the Maharashtra Academy of Sciences (2013). He has also held key positions such as Convener of the Materials Research Society of India (MRSI), Pune Chapter (20112013) and Secretary of the Indian Physics Association (20092012).
