This book covers all the relevant details of natural fiber composites (NFCs) commencing from the reinforcement side to their fabrication routes, mechanical, thermal, and metallurgical characterizations, machining and joining aspects (conventional, advanced, and hybrid modes), surface analysis (defects and wettability characterization), and so on. It details the reuse, remanufacturing, and recycling of NFCs.

  • Gives a complete overview of the mechanical, metallurgical, and tribological aspects of natural fiber composites
  • Includes automotive applications and potential of natural fiber composites
  • Covers tribo, thermal, and mechanical aspects apart from joining techniques
  • Elaborate details of joining, reuse, remanufacturing, and surface modification
  • Discusses all aspects of natural fiber composites toward sustainable manufacturing

This book is aimed at graduate students and researchers in sustainable composites, materials science, and polymers.
