Dr Amir Ghaffari Jolfayi is a physician-scientist who graduated from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD), a Master of Public Health (MPH), and a Master of Health Professions Education (MHPE), and he has won five medals in  National Medical Olympiads. By combining clinical expertise with advanced data-science training, Dr Ghaffari Jolfayi has quickly become a researcher in applied artificial intelligence for healthcare.



To date, he has authored numerous articles indexed in PubMed, Web of Science and Scopus, focusing on cardiovascular disease, machine learning, deep learning, and medical image processing. His work spans automated diagnosis, Theranostic modelling, radiomics, and workflow optimization, translating novel algorithms into practical clinical tools.



As an editor, Dr Ghaffari Jolfayi champions rigorous methodology, transparent reporting, and interdisciplinary collaboration. He regularly writes and review articles which integrate cardiology and other clinical sciences with biomedical engineering, computer vision, and outcomes research.
