Today a significant percentage of patients with neurological symptoms end up with some form of cross sectional imaging. The interpretation of images can be complex but at times the combination of classical clinical and imaging features can lead to a "Spot Diagnosis"This case-based pictorial neuroradiology book aims to provide 200 of these "Spot diagnoses" and to illustrate the challenges and nuances of our daily practice. Cases are chosen from 'real life' scenarios and include both common pathologies and rare conditions with high-quality cross-sectional images. The very purpose of this book is to develop a quick reflex to diagnose the cases in a typical clinical scenario. The book emphasizes the importance of correlating clinical information with imaging findings, fostering an interdisciplinary understanding of patient care. The concise pictorial format of this compendium is by no means a replacement of standard textbooks available in the market but rather a companion. This publication is intended not only for learner in Radiology but also in Neurology, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology or Paediatrics.
