Almost as breathtaking as the treasures from Sutton Hoo, 14 archive episodes of the long-running topical Radio 4 panel show, chaired by Barry Took, Bill Tidy, Simon Hoggart and Sandi Toksvig.

Now on display for the first time, these valuable editions can be dated to between 1980 and 2012 and tell us much about the headline-grabbing issues, incidents and individuals of yesteryear.

Joining regular panellists Alan Coren, Richard Ingrams, Jeremy Hardy and Andy Hamilton are a treasure trove of guest players including Nigel Dempster, Ian Hislop, Michael Grade, Rory Bremner, Linda Smith, Sue MacGregor, Armando Iannucci, Fred MacAulay, Francis Wheen, Sue Perkins, Josie Long, Hugo Rifkind, Miles Jupp, Sarah Millican, Paul Sinha, John Craven, Gay Search, Tom Wrigglesworth, Susan Calman and many more.

Alongside the regular programmes are three bejewelled editions of News Quiz of the Year, from 1987 and 1991, plus the Millennium Special edition first broadcast on New Year's Eve 1999.

This release contains adult language and references that reflect the era in which it was first broadcast.

Following a first-class degree from Cambridge, Sandi Toksvig went into the theatre, where she both wrote and performed before becoming one of the founder members of the Comedy Store Players. She is well known for her television and radio work, as a presenter, writer and actor. Barry Took was born in London in 1928. An early career as a stand-up comedian and sketch writer led to his first radio script credit, for Beyond Our Ken. From there he went on to create Round the Horne with Marty Feldman, whilst on television he wrote for series including Bootsie and Snudge and The Army Game. Amongst a variety of later jobs in front of and behind the camera, Took wrote and presented Points of View on BBC1 and also chaired BBC radios The News Quiz. He wrote a number of books, including The Complete and Utter History of Round the Horne and his autobiography A Point of View. He died in 2002. Sarah Millican has had 2 BAFTA nominations, 6 nominations for British Comedy Awards and won The Peoples Choice: Queen of Comedy in 2011. Her debut DVD, Chatterbox Live, was the biggest selling stand-up DVD by a female comedian of all time. She has appeared on numerous comedy shows including QI, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Live at the Apollo, Michael McIntyres Comedy Roadshow, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, and presented three series of her own show, The Sarah Millican Television Programme.
