Arvustused

"....covers all the parasites of various organ systems in dogs and cats and is very complete in its coverage of all known parasitic infections, including even the most obscure infestations. [ A]lso includes large animal infections in some cases and does a masterful job of covering both internal and external parasitic infections. [ A] comprehensive review that students and academicians can use to detect and confirm parasitic infections and then determine the most appropriate therapy. The book meets a need, as most texts do not provide the details covered here. Each chapter contains a nice feature on the etymology of parasites, the epidemiology and life cycle, how the infestations manifest through clinical signs, and treatment recommendations, which makes for easy reading. With up-to-date treatment modalities, this book is a welcome addition that will aid students and practitioners alike." --©Doodys Review Service, 2023, Dennis D French, DVM (University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine)
