It will serve as a helpful reference for those trained in anatomic pathology and orthopaedic surgery as they prepare for their board's exams and in daily clinical practice.
Dariusz Borys is a Professor of Pathology and Orthopaedic Surgery, Head of Orthopaedic and Paediatric Pathology and Director of Digital Pathology at Loyola University Chicago. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Wroclaw, Poland, in 1994 and completed his Residency in Anatomic Pathology at the County General Hospital in Wroclaw in 1995. He performed postdoctoral research at the University of Arizona, Tucson, in 1998, before continuing his residency training in both Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology at University of Illinois at Chicago in 2001. His current research focuses on the molecular markers in diagnostic, prognostic and targeted therapy of osteosarcoma. He is also a Fellow and Member of the Pathology Council of the Royal Society of Medicine.Adam Greenspan, MD, FACR, is Professor of Radiology and Orthopaedic Surgery at the School of Medicine of the University of California Davis. In 1965, he was granted the title of Doctor of Medical Science confirmed by resolution of the Medical Faculty of the Medical Academy of Wroclaw, Poland. He finished his residency in Rehabilitation Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery in 1965 and passed the Specialty Boards in these two specialties. He is the author of 150 journal articles and the author and co-author of 28 book chapters and several books, the most notable of which is Orthopaedic Imaging - A Practical Approach, now in its seventh edition.
