The author reviewed and researched many Arab and foreign references that were written about ancient Egyptian plants, and he made a great effort to verify their scientific names, hieroglyphs, and everything related to plants. He spared no effort in visiting archaeological museums to know the nature of the antiquities and become familiar with their details. He encountered many difficulties when searching through the references he reviewed, due to the differences in opinions contained in them, or because they did not cover the topics I addressed, or due to the ambiguity of some of the opinions in them.As for the pictures included in the book, some of them were based on volumes published by foreign scholars about the tombs of the Pharaohs and other nobles and nobles, while others were based on specialized references, and it is noted that some of these pictures had not been previously published.
