Dr. Tingkai Zhao is currently working as a full professor in School of Materials Science and Engineering of Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU, China), a fellow of the International Association of Advanced Materials (IAAM fellow, Sweden) and IAAM Scientist Award, a director of NPU-NCP Joint International Research Center on Advanced Nanomaterials and Defects Engineering, and a director of Shaanxi Engineering Laboratory for Graphene New Carbon Materials and Applications. As a visiting scholar, he visited Northwestern University (Evanston, USA) and University of Oxford (Oxford, UK). His research topics mainly focused on the simulation, synthesis, structure and performance of carbon nanotubes, graphene, borophene, expanded graphite, 2D nanomaterials, MXene, MBene and their composites, and the applications in energy conversion (supercapacitor, Li-ion batteries, solar cell), EMI shielding and EMW absorption, smart device and biosensors (HAP, microneedle electrodes, photosensitizer). Prof. Zhao has cultivated nearly 90 Postdoc, PhD & Master students, and published 10 books, 19 Chinese invention patents, and more than 200 academic articles on SCI journals, and also obtained more than 20 research funds and 30 awards and honors such as the First Prize of Shaanxi Science and Technology Awards in 2013. His research achievements have been reported on five times. Since 2019, he has organized GANDE and GNN international conferences as general chair every year and also been elected as an executive director of Xian Society of Nano Science and Technology.

Dr. Alexander Khotsianovsky is currently a senior research fellow at the Institute of Problems of Strength (IPS), Kyiv, Ukraine. For the last twenty years, he works in the international journal Strength of Materials (Springer, USA): as associate editor (since May 2022), managing editor (20142021), and executive secretary (20032013). He received his Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering and fracture mechanics at the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 1990 (on life prediction in fretting fatigue). He conducted research in the field of innovative spacecraft and aircraft applications in IPS, Ukraine, including Mir space station, Buran shuttle, etc. In 19931995, he was invited as research fellow to the German Aerospace Research Establishment (DLR, Cologne, Germany). In 20012002, he participated in developing computer-aided translation and editing programs in CCS Computer Solutions (Dublin, Ireland). In 2003, he was hired by IPS for the Strength of Materials international journal published by IPS in Ukraine and re-published in USA by Kluwer (then Springer). In 20032023, he was responsible for editing all journal papers in English, localization and implementation of www.stompaper.com manuscript automatic submission system (similar to editorial manager), digital editing and translation tools, etc. In parallel, he took an active part in the advanced material development for spacecraft applications in Ukraine (IPS, Kiev) and ONR/DARPA international projects on drag reduction of superspeed underwater vehicles. His current research interests cover a wide range: from coatings, tribology, and fretting-fatigue of advanced space/aircraft materials to polymer-additive applications and numerical simulation of hydroelasticity problems for supercavitation high-speed underwater vehicles. He has over 60 related publications and invited (keynote) reports in international conferences. He organized two international conferences in Kyiv (MSAM 2019 and CMSE 2020). Due to his active participation in several CMSE and MSAM conferences, he was invited and served as guest editor selected collections of respective conference materials in several journals, including MRI, IOP, etc.
