"This book explains behavioural aspects of Reinforced Concrete (RCC) structures along with brief research base to understand codal recommendation of different countries. Related issues of RCC design are discussed, supplemented by numerical/design examples and fundamental review questions in each chapter. Detailing considerations for non-elastic behavior for design procedure to accommodate design objectives has been critically discussed. Comparison of design methodology and output as per IS, BS, EURO and ACI Codes is also included. Features: Cover the basic behavioural aspects of reinforced concrete structures. Includes design examples to understand the theoretical concepts of different modules. Discusses detailing considerations for non-elastic behavior for making simple design. procedure to accommodate design objectives within codal provisions. Provides the basic insights necessary for effective development of a design. Includes number of design examples along with working drawings. This book is aimed at researchers, professionals, graduate students RCC structures, civil, infrastructure engineering, project execution and consultancy firms"--
