This book provides a comprehensive discussion of the newest and best in the field of rock scour assessment due to falling high-velocity jets. It comprises the papers of a workshop organized to bring together engineers and scientists from all over the world to promote the exchange of knowledge on the complexities of the hydrodynamic-geotechnical scour problem. The workshop covered topics ranging from physical modelling to jet aeration and air entrainment in plunge pools as well as numerical modelling and protection measures.
