Ward serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the journal The Soviet and Post-Soviet Review and is the author of Brezhnevs Folly: The Building of BAM and Late Soviet Socialism, Revolutionary Russia, 1917, and Russia: A Historical Introduction from Kievan Rus to the Present.
