With a PhD in Biochemistry, Natural Product Chemistry, and Cancer Biology, and a BSc in Human Biology specializing in Food and Nutrition, her research combines detailed analysis of bioactive constituents and their potential in managing chronic diseases like diabetes, cancer, etc. Hiruni Sandunika Kumarasinghe is a PhD candidate at Jeju National University, South Korea, with a specialization in cancer biology, natural product chemistry, and microbiology. Her research primarily focuses on the chemical profiling and biological activities of compounds from medicinal plants, aiming to develop novel therapeutic strategies for cancer treatment.
