In an era where artificial intelligence (AI) reshapes educational landscapes, this book emerges as a pivotal resource for educators in the field of English as a Foreign Language (EFL). This comprehensive book investigates the integration of AI into EFL education, showcasing how it surpasses traditional teaching methods by enhancing student autonomy, motivation, and learning outcomes. Through empirical research and theoretical insights, it explores self-regulated learning frameworks and emphasizes the importance of forethought, performance, and self-reflection processes facilitated by AI tools. The text also dives deep into corpus linguistics, utilizing large datasets of authentic texts to unveil critical language patterns and trends that inform effective teaching and curriculum design, making learning materials more relevant and deepening students' contextual understanding of language. Essential for educators, researchers, and policymakers, the book provides practical strategies for incorporating advanced technologies and data-driven insights into language teaching, equipping learners with the necessary skills to thrive in a digitalized global context and advocating for an educational shift towards more adaptive and personalized frameworks.
