Ultrasonic nano/micro fabrication, handling, and driving is an emerging technology that utilizes ultrasonic vibration and the physical effects of ultrasonic vibration in fluids and solids to implement fabrication, handling, and driving of nano/micro scale objects. This book provides readers with the fundamentals and principles related to ultrasonic nano/micro fabrication, handling, and driving, the detailed methods of designing devices based on these principles, and characteristics of these devices.

• Introduces fundamental concepts and offers examples of ultrasonic nanofabrication, including ultrasonic nanorolling, cutting, and coating methods.

• Features a wealth of examples to illustrate how to design ultrasonic devices and discusses the ultrasonic concentration and ultrasonic tweezers.

• Explains the principles of ultrasonic nano/micro driving of gas molecules and demonstrates applications in high-performance gas sensor systems and metal-air flow batteries.

• Teaches the principles of ultrasonic driving of microfluids and applications in metal-air flow batteries and cooling of small solid heat sources.

• Provides examples for FEM modeling and computation of ultrasonic devices for nano/micro fabrication, handling, and driving.

• Summarizes current and future trends for development.

Condensing the recent work of the author and other research teams in a handy reference, the book shares the advances, methods, and applications of ultrasonic micro/nanofabrication techniques for advanced readers working on fabrication of nano/micro devices.
