E-raamat: Valley of the Shadow

Upon the death of anyone, especially a child, we find ourselves overwhelmed by our emotions and trauma. Add to that the fact that your child chose not to live, and the pain and questions are crushing. It is crucial to take a step back and give ourselves the time and space we need to heal. One way to do this is to pray and entrust our pain and sorrow to God. In doing so, we can find comfort and strength in His love, pick up the pieces, and move forward. Perfect answer, right? Pray. Well, that isn't as easy as it seems. Through a series of events, the author began to get help and find peace from God, who helped him grow and heal. He had been a pastor and was a licensed mental health professional, but spiritually and mentally, he felt unprepared and unable to use the resources and skills he had. When he did, they didn't seem to work.  But God had not abandoned him, and He won't leave you. Join the author in his journey through the Valley of the Shadow and find hope and peace to move forward.
