E-raamat: Woodcraft by Hand Tools II

This is a continuation of projects given in my first ebook: "e;Woodcraft by Hand Tools"e;. It includes sections on making a wooden wheel barrow from a 19th century design that includes a wooden wheel using green wood and the barrow is easily dismantled for varied uses and storage. The book also includes a section on shrink pots and my experience in developing the skills for a variety of designs with simple hand tools. These are made from green wood, decorated in different ways, and may be used as containers, flower pots or whatever takes your imagination. A brief description of turning a cup from ash green wood using a spindle and pole bowl lathe is also included. Another section includes descriptions of crafting drink or side tables using green wood legs on a pole lathe. The tops are all spalted woods to add some more character to the designs. One additional tool, not described in my first book, is also included in some detail, a reamer made from oven dried beech and used to make conical tenons in wood, e.g. chair legs sockets.
