A specially developed questionnaire (FACIQ) was used to assess perceptions of CISM across European airline personnel, revealing high acceptance and emphasizing the importance of peer support and confidentiality. The findings suggest that relationship-oriented factors often outweigh professional qualifications in motivating individuals to seek support, and the study concludes with practical recommendations for expanding CISM applications beyond aviation.
