Dr Robert L. Schneider is a Professor at the Institute of Hospital Dentistry at the University of Iowa, and was Division Director of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics. He received his DDS from the University of Southern California before earning his MS and Certificate in Prosthodontics from the University of Iowa in 1983. He has published over 100 articles and book chapters, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, Life Fellow in the American College of Prosthodontists and Past President of the American Prosthodontic Society. He is also a Life Fellow in the International Team for Implantology, the Academy of Osseointegration and the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthodontics.
